We are a friendly, inclusive, local running club in Holgate, York, UK, and we’re affiliated with England Athletics.

We have social runs every Thursday evening with different pace and distance groups so there’s something to suit everyone. Come along and try us out and if you think we’re the club for you then join us as a full or social member.

York & District Road Race League

AKA The Summer League

Never heard of it?

• It’s a series of 7x 10k races organised by local running clubs
• Races are on Tuesday evenings, every other week from 28 April to 21 July 2026
• Entry fee is £38 which covers all 7 races (you don’t have to do all of them)

It’s too late to enter for this year but if it sounds like something you’d be interested in then why not consider joining us in time to enter for next summer? Runs and events

Every month we have a variety of events, including but not limited to:

• Social runs every Thursday evening
• Structured coached sessions every other Tuesday
• Lets lift the curfew womens only runs every other Monday
• A group trail run every first Sunday of the month
• Parkrun of the month every second-until-last Saturday of the month
• Every few months we have social events, including pizza nights and pub trips
