The route is just over 7km and follows the red route around Strensall Common.

We’ll take it nice and steady, especially in the muddier areas. Trail shoes would be preferable if you have them. If not, this certainly isn’t the run to wear your new trainers from Christmas.

We’ll meet at the Strensall Common car park on Scott Moncrieff Road just before 9, ready for a 9am start. There are two car parks at Strensall Common, so make sure you put the right one into Google Maps. As always, try to car share if possible and please comment on here if you need a lift.

The plan is to go to Strensall Coffee House or Bluebird after for coffee and cake, so remember to pop a spare pair of shoes in the boot for after the run.
